Habitat U covers a number of different topics that are key to becoming a responsible, successful homeowner.

These classes are for Habitat Orlando & Osceola homeowners, future homeowners, and mentorship program participants. Please contact Home@HabitatOrlandoOsceola.org with any questions regarding these lessons and quizzes.

Mandatory classes

Each homebuyer applicant is required to complete this series of 8 prospective homeowner classes.

You must complete the required quiz (or quizzes) at the end of each class to earn sweat equity credit (2 hours per class).

Financial Literacy 1: Budgeting and Saving

Become a better saver, and learn how to budget by reading this tutorial on the Wells Fargo Hands on Banking website. To receive credit for this class, you must read the tutorial on budgeting and saving.

Financial Literacy 2: Let’s talk about credit!

Learn about credit – and how to understand a credit report – with this class. To receive credit for this class, please take the two modules and two quizzes below.
